Driving Directions to Manoa Falls from Waikiki

  • Distance: Approximately 5 miles
  • Time: Around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic
  • Directions:
    1. Head northwest on Kalakaua Avenue towards Ala Wai Boulevard.
    2. Take the ramp onto I-H1 W.
    3. Take exit 23 for Punahou Street and turn right onto Punahou Street.
    4. Continue straight onto Manoa Road.
    5. Follow Manoa Road as it curves through the valley until you reach the end, where you’ll find the parking lot for Manoa Falls Trail.

Manoa Falls Directions from Honolulu

  • Distance: About 6 miles from downtown Honolulu
  • Time: Roughly 20 minutes
  • Directions:
    1. Head northeast on Nimitz Highway.
    2. Merge onto I-H1 E via the ramp to Koko Head.
    3. Take exit 24B for University Avenue.
    4. Turn left onto University Avenue.
    5. Turn right onto Oahu Avenue and then left onto Manoa Road.
    6. Follow Manoa Road to the end.

Manoa Falls Directions from Honolulu International Airport

  • Distance: Around 11 miles
  • Time: Approximately 20-30 minutes
  • Directions:
    1. Take the I-H1 E ramp from Rodgers Boulevard.
    2. Continue on I-H1 E to Honolulu.
    3. Take exit 24B for University Avenue.
    4. Follow University Avenue, Oahu Avenue, and then Manoa Road to the trailhead.
